Joseph DiMambro
How do you classify an ESOP account? Is it an investment account or something else? Will i be able to enter the annual transactions?

It makes the most sense, to me anyway, that creating the Account as an Investment Account of some sort - probably a "brokerage" - is the way to go. One way or the other, however you're going to do your accounting, you will end up owning stocks and stocks are a classic "investment", even if they are stocks of your employer.
