BoA new EWC+ connection created 300 dup transactions

I just updated per instructions my BofA connection method. Now I have 300 transactions marked new that are duplicates. I went back to my backup. Deleting 300 downloaded transactions is not acceptable user experience.

For what it is worth deleting the transactions is quite simple.

Here are the instructions for if you have automatic transaction entry mode on (you will see the transactions in the register with a status (first column) with New.

Click on the Status column header this puts all the new transactions together at the bottom of the register.
Next select the first transaction marked New, and the go to the bottom and hold down the shift key and right click on the last transaction that is a duplicate (not really new). That will select all the transactions from the first to the last and bring up the context menu. From there you can just select Delete transactions.

EDIT: If you do this be sure to click on the Date column header after you are done to get the transactions sorted by date again.
