why is it so difficult to get quicken support?

agent 1: left problem unresolved
agent 2: agent disconnected from call inmidst of creating anew quicken file, did not call back
agent 3: could not hear him due to extremely noisy background call center constant noise, gave him phone numbersaid he'd call back but never did.

unresolved issue:
after quicken deluxe update (9/17/22) account transactions would not download.
need to download august transactions into register.

each call took ::30 minutes to get thru

customer support seems to have deteriorated greatly.

    Did you try the chat support? It still takes a while, but I have done it many times, and have been escalated to higher reps who have spent hours with me trying to fix me. The last time I did this was about 6 months ago, and I needed a validation and safe file duplicate and then had to turn off online banking stuff, and then reactivate all the accounts. It was resolved, with much assistance and a remote session, but they did it.

    EDIT:  These days even chat is limited to 5am to 5pm PST time.
