Quicken - What's latest best way to display accurate Credit Card balance

It's all wonky even after latest update. The balance is increasing when I make payments to pay off an item on the credit card. I guess it's a function of the total allowance I have on the credit card but I would rather it display how much I have charged to the creidt card and have not yet paid off. Anyone have a good workout yet for this? Maybe set the limit to 0?

Are you entering the payment manually or downloading it from the credit card company. Does the Amount value for a payment transaction have a positive or negative value? (It should be positive, because changes are negative, and your balance is normally negative in a credit card account.) The credit allowance on the credit card shouldn't affect the recording of charges or payments at all.
