Generate report spending "year to date" "monthly"
DanielMVance
I would like to generate a "year to date" report showing total "monthly" expenses without "categories"
I can generate a such a report with "categories" but I cannot see how to remove the "categories". What am I overlooking?
Thank you,

I don't think you can do that in Quicken using the Reports available to you. It's kind of like the math teacher telling you "show your work" on a quiz; Quicken shows the details of the Categories making up the Expenses total.
You can get something sort of what you're shooting for, graphically, by looking at the Income vs. Expenses "dashboard" item. Or, export your report to Excel and simply delete all the Category rows.

Tom Young, thank you. Appreciate you good explanation. Much appreciated,
Daniel
