Chase accounts reauthorization is adding money to my quicken balance how do I fix it?

When I reauthorize my chase accounts it is adding money to my balance in quicken (checking and savings only) how do I fix it or is quicken working on issue?

    Is "it" Chase, or Quicken?  How is this being done?  Are you seeing specific transactions in your Quicken Accounts that increasing your balances?  Are we dealing with duplicate transactions ("deposits" presumably) or "new" transactions that you don't recognize?
    One source of error that's been mentioned in connection with the switch from DC to EWC+ by Chase is that the "Opening Balance" in Accounts gets changed.  Could that be the case here?

    I recently observed this when I reconciled a Chase credit card. Reconcile was off by $799 or so. Sure enough, the opening balance was that exact amount when it should have been $0.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.
