How can I move assets into a separate account

Question

I have been tracking all of our precious metals transactions in one Quicken Investment Account since 2014. But now that approach is making it hard to keep track of which coins are whose and which vault they are in. I want to split the holdings into three separate accounts (one of the three being the existing account). I'm hoping you can tell me how to do that so I don't mess up the "lots" (and bases) of the various holdings.

If there are tracked as "shares" in an investing account, you can use the Shares Transferred between Accounts action to move all or selected lots to another account.
