New to Quicken. Re: Investment accounts - Some of my investment accounts do not link with Quicken.
AudioRon
Is this a common issue or, in other words, just the way it is for some investment accounts (unable to link with Quicken or vice-versa)? If so, than I am back to my old, time-consuming manual approach.
If this is the case, does anyone have a suggestion as to a better app for investment management?

Not all brokerages connect to Quicken, and among those that do connect, some types of accounts, 401(k)s for example, may not support connection.
If you identify the brokerage(s) and types of accounts that are giving problems, we may be able to help further.

What brokerages are you doing business with?
In a supported version of Quicken, many brokerages in the US and Canada can be connected for downloading transactions into Quicken.

The 2 that I cannot get to link with Quicken are Lincoln Financial Group and Delaware Medalian.

What happens when you try to connect these accounts?
Delaware Medalian doesn't appear in the list of institutions that have signed contracts with Q/Intuit to provide download. Only DM can rectify this.
