Requesting manual vs auto subscription renewal

I extremely dislike perpetual renewal for any service. Having my card on file should be for my convenience alone.
I would prefer a manual subscription renewal where I am in complete control of my spending.

Sorry if I was vague. If a manual renewal process was available, I could make a payment (one step) once a year and be done. The current process requires setting up autorenew, waiting for renewal to occur, then returning to cancel autorenew (more than one step).0

Yes, I did turn off autorenew after my annual subscription renewed. I still want a one-time manual payment. I dislike finding someone's hand in my wallet pocket. And it's entirely unnecessary. Next year I'll let the subscription expire, then call Customer Service and have them do the renewal and have them cancel the auto-renewal. Perhaps then Quicken will see that a manual payment process is less costly for Quicken.0

You misunderstand how this works.
Automatic subscription renewal only gets turned on when you first sign up for the subscription.
Once you turn it off, it will not turn back on, and you will need to do the renewal yourself each year.
Which can either be through the Quicken website or by buying it from a retailer.Signature:
