Some of my updates are duplicates and I need to edit some of the accounts. How can I do it?

Click on the duplicate transaction(s), in the register, right click and choose delete to remove them, if that is your problem.

Can you be more specific about what the issue is and what you are attempting to accomplish?
If this is just a matter of duplicate transactions in the account register then all you need to do is right click on the one you do not want to keep and then click on DELETE and then click on YES.
If it is more than this I will need more information in order to provide some assistance.
