Synchrony/Amazon issues - is Synchrony really blocking or is Quicken just using wrong URL?

the update for Amazon credit cards should be amazon.syf.com/accounts/login/ instead of synchronybank.com

The financial institutions' URLs shown in Quicken should be considered as being for-reference-only.  Quicken actually connects with financial institutions differently than we users do when we go to log in to our online accounts.
What is happening when you cannot update your Amazon account?  Is there an error code and/or an error message?  If so, what is it?
Are you encountering any issues updating other accounts?
Also, after you get the update failure, have you tried using Update Now instead of One Step Update?  (Account register > upper right Gear icon > Update Now)

I thought there was a change a while ago ...
Using Tools / Add Account in Quicken, I can see only one "Amazon Store Card - Synchrony" entry.
What is the Financial Institution Name you're currently using? Something else?
If so, deactivate the card account in Quicken, then use Tools / Add Account to connect to the above entry. Be sure to correctly link your existing account register to the account found at the bank.
