Adding transactions in Spending

I entered transactions in the Check Register yesterday, and I can't add new ones today. How do I get to a new line in the register??

Is your register sorting set up so that the current date is at the bottom of the register?  If not, click on the Date column header to change the sorting and then see if that resolves the issue.
