How do I insert a blank line, and also delete blank line(s) from a split transaction window

I can add groups of blank lines to the bottom without any problem, but how do I insert a blank line in the middle of a group of lines, or delete a line

    To add a line, select the line below where you want the line added, click on Edit and select Insert.

    To delete a line, select the line, click on Edit, and select Delete.
