Don't have real time quotes?

Hi - I have Quicken Premier, selected real time quotes, but the quotes are still delayed. Am I missing something or is there a bug? Thanks

@NickDiG99,  Do you have a way of telling how much delay there is?

I tried updating quotes a few minutes after the market opened at 9:30 Eastern time and I started getting varying quotes for ETFs, so for me it seems to be less than a 15 minute delay.

Regardless of what Quicken is doing, your broker's trading platform will almost certainly be a better source of real time quotes.

Frankly I have never tested how "real-time" they are, they certainly will not be exactly the same as what you would get at your broker.

The only thing I went by to see that it is "working" is that if you go to the Portfolio view, at the bottom there is a message that says they are delayed when the option is off, and no message when it is on.

@Jim_Harman & @Chris_QPW - Thanks for the replies! I realize they will never be the same as my broker, but there is still a 20 minute delay, which is the same as I had before. That's why I was wondering if there was something I was missing or just another bug

@NickDiG99, If you look at the bottom of the Investing > Portfolio page, does the message still say "Quotes delayed at least 15 minutes"?

I found that after going to Edit > Preferences > Investments and enabling real time quotes, I had to exit and restart Quicken to make that message go away. It may be that an exit and restart is required after enabling to option for the real time quotes to work. Please let us know what you find.

Another data point: The Time column in the Investing > Portfolio views is supposed to show the time of the last trade.

I would assume that if if I enable the Time column and refresh the quotes with Real time quotes enabled, I would see some times that are less than 15 minutes ago, but that appears to not be the case.
