Are you getting this message during a backup?  Or when?
Are you using Dropbox, OneDrive, etc to backup your Q data file?
And, what's the EXACT wording of the message?

I would suggest changing the extension of the backup file from .QDF-backup to .QDF and opening directly in Quicken instead of restoring.
