I have uncategorized transactions in Spending from balance adjustments I made to investment accounts. How do I account for them so they don't affect my monthly spending?

Go into the balance adjustment transactions and change the category to [Investment Account Name]. This self-referencing "transfer" is the syntax for removing it from the expense/income sections. In other words, it means "a transaction that comes from outside of Quicken".
