Quicken wireless mouse pointer disappears and program freezes when running Quicken Premiere

I have the same problem. Why was that discussion shut down???

    Not sure what prior discussion you're referring to ... if you could, please include the URL link to this discussion.
    Once in a while I have a similar occurrence, with my wireless mouse losing its connection, apparently freezing the computer.
    To get it back, all I ever have to do is to open the mouse, remove the battery, stick it back in and then close the mouse. A green control light briefly shows in the mouse and everything's back to normal. No reboot required.

    this is what first came up for me in a google search but the thread referred to with steps to resolve the problem seems to also have vanished.

    I'm using a wireless mouse without problem ... except when my batteries run low.

    The missing link in this discussion is because the discussion was archived. I went down to dig it up ... dusty place! ... and attached a PDF for your review.
    For me, also using a wireless mouse, the same problem happens once in a while. Somehow the connection from the mouse to the computer appears to get lost. When that happens to me, I just open the mouse, remove and reinsert the battery and all's well again. No Quicken kill-and-restart or anything else required.
