Does anyone have any ideas on how I can improve application performance. It is really slow and getting very frustrating. Any tips or tricks to clean it up would be greatly appreciated or I may need to buy a new computer. I am running on an older Surface Tablet.

How much total RAM do you have installed?
How much of the available RAM is in use after Quicken has started? Windows Task Manager will give you this information. 80% or higher?

Slow Performance issue for Laptop users:

Is your laptop plugged in while you're working with Quicken or are you running on battery with power saving reduced performance settings?
Check your Control Panel / Power Options. Make sure the selected Power Plan allows for best performance while plugged in and while on battery.

I am having the same problem. This is new-- just the last week which is why I think it is due to R45.11. All memory and power settings are in order and not causing this issue. It is software related.
I am running Windows 11 which may also be playing a part.

I have an older Surface and it is plugged into its dock. I am running two monitors off the Surface and dock for three total with the Surface screen. O have 57% of memory left on the device with Quicken running. The database is 290 MEG.
