Register Column Widths

For the last ~month Quicken keeps forgetting column width in account registers. I will reset them but the next time I open quicken, my register columns are very narrow again. For whatever reason, this seems to only affect date, payment and deposit columns. I have reset them, I've also chosen an option that says make all two-line registers look like one that I've repaired.

I have reset them many, many times (just opened my file again this afternoon and have so far fixed widths in 8 account registers). I finally got disgusted and wrote this up.

Any clues on how to get this to work properly again?

Make sure this preference is selected:
Edit -> Preferences -> Register -> Remember register filters after Quicken closes
