Web sync messing up multiple accounts

So this has now happened to me twice. I synced with web and mobile after a recent update and it added all kinds of transactions to multiple accounts. I pulled a backup from a week ago and started over. When I went to sync that it did the same thing. It isn't as messed up as before but will take me going through transaction by transaction for 2 years of data. Why does the sync not work? I use it as a backup function and the mobile app but haven't opened the mobile app in ages due to having to redo all my registers.

All I can say is that "sync" has been associated with Quicken file data problems for a long time. I expect most SuperUsers don't use it for that exact reason. Syncing certainly can't be used as a backup function - that's what local backups are for. I'd advise going to the Mobile & Web line under Preferences and turning that off, particularly if you're not even using it.As to why sync doesn't work, I have no idea.0
