How do you adjust size (length) of fields in register for investment transactions

As you move your mouse cursor along the top line of the column names - Share Bal, Inv. Amt, Cash Amt, etc - you should be able to grab the vertical line dividing these columns - cursor changes to a line with arrows at both ends - and reposition those lines.

If it isn't the physical width of a column, as shown in the investment register, could it be that your setting of Edit / Preferences / Reports only "Decimal places for prices and shares" is set to only show 4 decimal places?
If so, change it to 6.
If that's not the issue, can you show us an example of what's shown on your Quicken window? Grab a screen snapshot and save it to a PNG, JPG or GIF file. Annotate the file to remove personal information, then drag the file from Windows File Explorer into your next Comment here.
