@wjdaly - Quicken never charges anything for support services...ever.  If you talked with someone who wanted $400 to resolve the issue(s) you are experiencing then you were not talking with anyone from Quicken.  If you did pay someone for support, you should probably contact your credit card company and let them know that the charge is not legitimate.

If you need to talk with someone in Quicken Support you should go here to have a phone call or chat session with them:  https://www.quicken.com/support#contact-support.  (Make sure you do not have popup blockers turned on or that www.quicken.com is whitelisted.)

Another option to get a valid phone number is to log into www.quicken.com online account.  There will be a phone number listed there that you can call, as well.
