Budget Rollover to new Year

Does Quicken for Windows current 2023 edition provide the ability to rollover your budget amounts to the new year so as to create a continuous budget? I know it does month by month for current year. Thanks.

Yes, Quicken can extend a budget into different years. Note once extended into a given year you can't remove that year short of restoring from a backup. I have one budget that is from 2017 to 2023. The one thing that is strange about it is that how it extends the budget amounts into the new year depends on if you do it in the new year or the prior year. If you click on the arrow that takes into a new year (or month depending on what is set) it will give you a chance to choose how it determines the new budget amounts. If you do it in the new year, it will just automatically use the "actuals" of the last year to determine the budget amounts.Signature:

I'm going to include this link for the idea that all the options should be available no matter how the budget is extended because this is a problem that comes up every year:
When Quicken detects that a budget should be updated in the new year it should give all options — Quicken

Thank you but I'm trying to get the prior year's budget positive or negative balance by category to carry over to the new year's budget. I understand that I can carryover budget amounts. As an example, I have a vacation category that calls for $360/mo that accumulates by month minus spent dollars using the rollover function. It works great while in the same year but when you cross over to the next year it doesn't crossover that balance to the new year.0
