Tracking 401k performance?
JF73
Is there a way to track the year-over-year performance of my 401(k) account? Under the Investing tab I do see all of the index funds in my 401(k) portfolio, and I see their current Market Value. But how do I see the Market Value Change, or Gain/Loss, over periods of time?

In the Investing > Portfolio views, you can use the Customize button to add columns that show various performance measures.
The ones I find most useful are the Avg Annual Return (%) 1, 3, and 5 year columns. These do an IRR calculation, taking into account the timing of deposits, withdrawals, distributions, and share value changes.
The same calculations are available in the Investment Performance Report.
