Quicken Classic for Mac
File Conversion and Backup (Mac)
Has the BoughtX/SoldX conversion issue (Windows to Mac) been fixed?

I currently run QW 2013 Deluxe on a Mac using VirtualBox. I have been wanting to start using the new Quicken for Mac but have always held off because of this known conversion issue. Any idea if this has been fixed. I can't be the only one waiting for this.

I made the move from QW 2013 Deluxe to Quicken for Mac. It went great. Zero issues. Minor clean-up. I can't believe how fast and stable the Quicken for Mac is!

I’m not aware of any publicized changes to the Windows > Mac converter. However, I do remember the former product manager saying that it should work correctly. And anecdotally, I've seen few complaints about this issue in recent times, leading my to think it does work correctly for some, if not all, users. That's no guarantee it will work, but since you have a Mac, why not give it a try? You can purchase a Quicken subscription and try it; if it fails miserably in converting your data, you can cancel your subscription within 30 days to get a full refund.
