Trust and Will payments - legal fees

Last year I purchased a online trust plan from . The payments were made over time; 4 in total. How should I categorize those payments in my Quicken spending account?

    I think there are several different ways you could categorize these 4 payments.  What I would probably do is create a custom Expense category for it called "Legal".  The easiest way to do this is to simply type "Legal" (without the quote marks) in the Category field of a transaction.  Quicken will ask you if you wish to create a new category for that which you would and you will then get the popup to create that new category.  Then you can use that new category for the other 3 transactions, as well.

    You can also enter a note in the transactions Memo field for "Trust Plan".
