Moved Quicken 2017 to a new platform but no login prompt

I moved my Quicken 2017 to a new platform but still windows 10. When quicken comes up all I get is a blank screen. From what I read that is because I am not logged in. However, after the install and quicken starts I do not get a prompt to log in. How can I fix this? TIA.

You need to copy the C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Config\QUICKEN.INI file from you old Quicken installation to the new one. Also, download/install the R20.5 Mondo patch from Quicken 2017 Patches - QuicknPerlWiz.

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure that path is correct? There is no Quicken directory in ProgramData.

C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder, you need to show hidden files and folders.

Patch Error: Unable to check for updates, the server file failed to load (quicken.com)

I know that. ProgramData is there along with many subfolders but Quicken is not among them.

Look for Intuit instead of Quicken. Quicken was owned by Intuit at that time.

That file does exist and I copied it. The updates then started (it didn't get that far before) but then when Quicken restarted I still have the same problem. I open that file from the file menu and I can see the data briefly before the blank screen.
