How to sync/merge two QDF files

I am using Quicken Deluxe Ver. R46.12 I have an old QDF file (from last year) that I would like to merge into my current QDF file. Is there a way to do that?

My best guess would be to purchase the file that you want and it will sync. Make sure you back up your file before you do so.

My understanding in what you are asking is if you have basic quicken & you want to upgrade to small business quicken.

    Sorry I accidentally hit post...

Then go to File... Restore a backup.

I can not stress enough to make sure you have a backup to fall back on if you need it.

@ aksonya  I'm not sure your posts answer his question.

    I Found these posts….
See this post for merging 2 QDF files

If one of the data files has only non-investment accounts than a better choice than QIF is to use a Quicken Transfer Format (.QXF) File... export/import.  Note that you can only do this on Deluxe or above.

    And maybe see this post

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
