reactivating accounts

i don't have the option to "add to quicken" on my accounts .. any suggestions?

    Are you talking about specific accounts cannot be added to Quicken?  Or are you saying that you cannot add any accounts to Quicken?

    Normally, when trying to (re-)activate accounts in Quicken, you cannot activate an account which is already marked as activated in Quicken. You need to deactivate it first.
    In a cycle of deactivation of accounts followed by reactivation it is recommended to deactivate first, then shut down Quicken, wait a few seconds, start Quicken and proceed with activation using the Add Account process ("+" icon in the Account Sidebar title line)
