Is there a way to edit the actual data, rather than playing around in the GUI

I have many, many broken transactions to fix, I'd prefer to key in the correct info off my statements, but having much trouble. I have missing txns, made up place holders etc. Quicken completely screwed up options transactions. One thing I have is a correct purchase, a missing sale and multiple add delete shares. I'd really like to export the data from a point in time where it was correct, make the corrections is a table, eliminate the garbage data, then re-import the corrected data
