Credit Remaining / Available shouldn't be based on end balance

Why is the Credit Remaining (Register View) and the Available Credit (Property & Debt / Debt) based on the ending balance? Shouldn't it go off the current register balance?
It's annoying that the reports don't accurately reflect my available credit (as of today).
If I schedule a payment for 30 days out or 2 days out, I don't think it should be counted as available credit as of today.

I've made that point before, but I guess the developers are too busy coding shading for row styles to get to that particular problem.

I've thought of it so many times over the many many years I've used Quicken - it's always been that way! Whoever decided to display that way is nuts.0
