Moving Q 2017 deluxe to a new computer using Zinstall

I have ordered a new faster computer (W 10 Pro) and want to move Quicken 2017 from my current machine (also W 10 Pro). I am considering using the Zinstall product. Reviews say it will work. Anyone out there with this experience?

I have never used it but would actually give it a good chance of working, especially with Quicken.  Almost every setting in Quicken are in its config files, opposed to being in the Windows registry.  Coming from really old programs to today's programs I can tell you one of the main reasons that programs started having install programs instead of just copying the program files to a certain directory was because of the need to put things in the Windows registry.  For some programs transferring the needed Windows registry settings might be really difficult and as such there might be programs out there that Zinstall wouldn't work with, but as I said, I don't think Quicken is one of them.

Thanks for your response. If this doesn't work, I will uninstall Q17 on the new machine, and order the subscription version, even though I use none of the online offerings in it, and don't plan to do so.

Please report back if it worked for you or not, so that others can benefit from the information.

@PSLParks_0914, did you try moving Quicken using Zinstall?
