Single line transaction view
MagicBob
Rarely do I open a new account. When I do Quicken defaults to a 2-line transaction view. I prefer a 1-line transaction view and I can never remember how to change the view. I tried to use the CTRL+2, but it doesn't work for me. I cannot find it in the EDIT/Preferences menu, nor in the register preferences.
Thanks Bob

I must apologize again. I found the answer. Right out in the open. Most likely why I didn't see it. 😉

I must apologize. In my question I meant to say that Quicken defaults to displaying a 1-line transaction in the registers, and I prefer a 2-line transaction display. Bob

Since you didn't say how, for others reading this thread, a
Ctrl+2
while in the register is one way of toggling between 1 & 2 line non-investment registers. There is a way via the menus, but this is the easiest.

Thank you, Splasher, but as I said in my original post Ctrl+2 did not work.
