How do I categorize a payment on a debt account?

I have recently obtained several medical bills that I need to make payment on. I have made them a "debt" or "loan" account in quickens so that I can keep track of the balance on all. How do I categorize the payment as a "medical bill" when I make a payment to reduce the account?

Set the tax attributes on that account so that 'TRANSFERS IN" use the category that you want.
Then record your payments as transfers into the account, which will reduce it's balance towards $0

That was what I had done, but I did not know if there was a way I was to or could do it by using the categories. Ok I will leave it alone then and continue to do it that way. thank you.

In QWin, Transfers and Categories are mutually exclusive.
