Deleted several accounts from Quicken but the data file stayed the same size

I'm trying to reduce my quicken file size ( up 600 MB ) so I deleted several accounts within that file from Quicken but the data file stayed the same size. I did the repair file action but no change. Is there something else to do?

Deleting the accounts only marks them as deleted. A File Copy operation is needed to actually delete them because they won't be copied into the new file.
Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.

If your data file is 600MB I would bet most of that space is taken up by attachments. Accounts don't really take up much space.
