Found duplicate postings and several accounts are out of balance after the recent update.

My bank and cash accounts are always keep reconcilled. But I have noticed the out of balanced accounts after the recent Quicken update for windows. There are so many duplicate postings for prior periods even for 2021. These postings happened automatically after the update. Any suggestions other than manually correcting it?

    If you updated the Quicken version from with Quicken: Quicken now makes an Automatic Backup file of your data file before updating the software and it will insert the version number into that backup file name. Go to where your Automatic Backup files are kept and look for a data file with the version that was updated included in the backup file name. It will look something like this (shaded in yellow) but with the version you were previously running.

    If you don't know where your Automatic Backup files are saved…click on "Open" or "Change" in the yellow shading in the following picture to see where it probably is located.:

    Restore that backup file and see if the issue is resolved.
