Manually Match Transaction Window Empty

Hi. I have a credit card payment shown in the card account as "uncleared". When I select the "uncleared", a Manual Match dialog box opens to manually match the transaction. However, there are no transactions available in the box. For the same card payment, Quicken matched the payment in my checking account.
How do I solve this problem?

    Does the downloaded transaction still have its status as New?

    If it somehow got changed from New to cleared, then it will not have anything to match (note marking a New status transaction as "Reviewed" will clear the New status).

    If that is the case (New status cleared) then you will basically have to do the merge yourself, in this case that might just amount to deleting the downloaded transaction.

    When doing a manual match while using automatic transaction entry mode like it seems you are doing (clicking on the "Uncleared") the amount of the transaction you are clicking on and the downloaded transaction have to be the same. If they are different change the amount on the uncleared transaction to match the amount of the downloaded transactions and then select the Uncleared → Match to a downloaded transaction again.

    The cleared checking account payment and the unmatched credit card transactions took place on the same date and for the same amount. I paid another credit card from my checking account and they matched automatically, as usual.

    Thanks for your help. I was going to delete the credit card transaction as you suggested, but I tried one last thing. I selected the amount field, and then selected Save. The transaction cleared. I have no idea why that worked. Next time this happens I'll try the same thing, and if it doesn't work, then delete and re-enter the transaction.
