Is there still an issue with Schwab SWGXX? I still Have to delete boughtx and sellx in order to balance in all my accounts. My cash is shown in a separate checking account.
Quicken version R48.15

Since Schwab is a "bank" as well as a "broker" it's not clear what the statement "My cash is shown in a separate checking account" is referring to, exactly. When you set up your Schwab brokerage Account in Quicken did you tell Quicken to "Show cash in a checking account?" That would be a "linked" checking account and as far as I know Schwab doesn't have linked checking accounts, but I could be wrong.

I'm guessing that you want SWGXX to be treated as "cash?" Each time I've had to get my Quicken Schwab Accounts to start downloading again - something I've had to do a lot - then in the process of disconnecting ALL the screwed up Schwab Accounts and then reconnecting them again I'm asked for each Account if I want to treat Schwab Value Advantage as a security or as cash. You might try that process (BACKUP first) to see if the same question comes up with SWGXX. That should allow you to have SWGXX considered as cash as opposed to a security.

You are correct they are linked accounts. I keep track of the SWGXX separately since it is truly cash available unlike the SWVXX which does not have immediate access.

I don't like the idea of unlinking and relinking I have done it and it can cause a big mess. Seems to me there should be a way of designating that "security" to be treated as cash without having to unlink.

Maybe I should uncheck the "Matched with online security"? Keep it from downloading?
In the mean time I will just have to delete all the Boughtx and SoldX.

I don't think that will work, you really need to tell Quicken to treat SWGXX as cash.

You might try first clicking on "Update cash balance" in the Account and seeing if the option - a new button - shows up that allows you to make the switch right there. I'm pretty sure that button only shows in certain situations, so changes are you won't see that.

I had to go through the process of getting reconnected with my wife's 3 Schwab Account and didn't encounter any problems, and that's where the questions about Schwab's money market funds comes up. First I signed in as a different user in my file, (edit/preferences/quicken id/sign in as different user/yes/log back into quicken), disconnected the 3 Accounts from downloading, then reconnected. It all went well with ho duplicate transactions being downloaded.
