Add general recurring expense to projected balance calculation without a bill reminder

I think it would be helpful to have an option to use a budget entry in the projected balance calculation on a proportional basis (i.e., daily) without the need to add a reminder for an unknown recurring transaction (e.g., food or gas).
I could add a daily bill reminder, but this results in unnecessary clutter when showing upcoming reminders in the register and could be replaced with a single remaining monthly budget entry.

How would Quicken know to include budgeted amounts only if there is not a Reminder for the same expense?

The Current Budget report compares budgeted to actual spending in a way when you set the period to YTD. For the current month it pro-rates the budget amount by the date.
