what happens when I manually enter a transaction and categorize it on the mobile app?

what happens when I manually enter a transaction and categorize it on the mobile app and then the desktop app also downloads that transactions from the bank, do i end up with two transaction or do they automatically merge?

    They should be Matched (merged). But do the download to the desktop first
