Quicken Update Bug?

I got a notice of an update available this morning stating "The version of Quicken installed on this computer is R1. The latest version is 48.15." The problem is is that I already have 48.15 installed.
Yesterday, as a test, I had initiated the installation of the the 48.15 Mondo patch but cancelled it before the actual installation. Did that possibly mess something up? (I had also noticed the patch informing me I had R1 installed).

Quicken reporting that the current version is R1 when doing a program update is a long standing issue and can be ignored.

It has been reported many times and it just never makes the list of things to fix, I'm speculating that it isn't felt to be a big enough error to fix, though it should be easy since if you do Help→About Quicken, it will accurately report the current release.
