I want to reconcile one month at a time

When I try to reconcile, Quicken does not give me an option to put a date in, (the month I am wanting to reconcile) it just brings up all the unreconciled entries. This is new, because I was able to reconcile month by month before.

    It sounds like you might be now reconciling to the Online Balance. What you want is to manually reconcile which will give you the option to enter the statement date.

    To confirm this: Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > Online Services tab > make sure the box for Reconcile using online balance is unchecked. The next time you want to reconcile you will be prompted to decide which reconciliation method you want to use….be sure to select Use paper statement.
