Quicken takes several minutes to start up

Since the last QD update R49.29 a few days ago, Quicken takes an extremely long time to start. The window appears right away with nothing but a blank title bar and the spinning circle. After 2 minutes, the "file" and "edit" options appear at the top, but the spinning continues. It takes another 2 minutes for everything else to appear, so maybe 5 minutes total. I am using a pretty powerful desktop and this entire start up process used to take about 10 seconds up until last week. Anyone have any idea what's happening?

It's perhaps a long shot but you might want to do what I and another user did that significantly sped up the processes for opening Quicken, switching between data files, switching between accounts, initializing/running OSU and eliminated both the occasional white and black screens, stopped the screen from appearing to freeze or the screen flickering:

Open Task Manager and go to the Startup Apps tab. Disable all apps that are not absolutely necessary for system startup. For me, that included disabling Mg Edge, Skype, vSee, PDF24 and a couple of others, none of which I use frequently.

Then reboot the computer and see if Quicken's responsiveness has improved. It made a big and consistent improvement for me since I did that about a week ago (and I run Quicken 2X per day 5 days a week and 1X per day on weekends/holidays for 4-7 different data files).

If you try this, let me know if it helped with your situation.
