UPDATE 4: My last connectivity issue with REGIONS occurred on May 11, 2023. After this date the above referenced error has presented with each attempt to connect.
This afternoon, a restore point of MAY 10, 2023 was discovered on my Windows 11 laptop, this is prior to the most previous WINDOWS UPDATE uploaded to my laptop on May 11, 2023.
The system was restored to this restore point. Unfortunately, the succeeding attempts to connect to REGIONS was not successful.
This test most likely confirms what we already know, there is a connectivity issue between QUICKEN and REGIONS that likely began on or about May 11, 2023. This is not a user internet connection issue.
It’s been reported, I guess we will have to show patience while the remedy investigation and whatever action ensues.1 -

Hello @crwalejr and @Karl Hanson,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
These errors usually appear when your computer cannot establish an internet connection with Quicken. Please note, these errors do not mean the computer has lost internet connection, simply that Quicken cannot establish an internet connection. You may follow this link to access a FAQ which provides more information as well as some troubleshooting steps that you can follow. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).
I hope this helps!

I am having the same issue. Error message says the following.

After several days of being unable to connect Quicken R49.29 with Regions it was time to RESET the connection. This did not work, the progress wheel only spun. After interrupting the process, the connection was deactivated, however, reactivation failed. In all cases the ERROR CODE is OL-295-A (Your transaction was rejected because your financial institution's server is not accepting requests at this time. Try again later or contact your financial institution for more information.)
We have escalated to REGIONS BANK. The CS associate reports a Regions.com issue earlier today (May 15, 2023), however, they are unaware of any Quicken connection issues and have taken the issue as a technical case to investigate.
There are other complaints when searching through GOOGLE, however, if others would add to this thread, we can gauge just how widespread or narrow the issue is.1 -
UPDATE: REGIONS has investigated and reports their servers are working correctly and NOT rejecting connections. Can anyone collaborate this or has anyone contacted Quicken support directly to ensure the Quicken servers are not the source of the issue?

This happens to me about every 4 to 6 months. It suddenly quits working. Everybody says that everything is ok. I reset the account. That doesn't work. I deactivate the account and reactive the account. This time I reactivated the account and Billpay from Regions is not part of the re-activated account. This is getting old.

UPDATE 2: Contacted Quicken Support and after verifying a series of security and internet settings (they were correct), Quicken Support verified thier servers as functional and pointed back at Regions Bank.
I'm back on the phone with Regions Bank, however, DIRECT ACCESS TO TECHNICAL SUPPORT is not possible, thus making the process rather cumbersome.0 -

Same issue. The error happens immediately indicating a connection issue with the servers, so not related to the accounts. It isn't getting that far.0

Same problem, error code OL-295-A trying to connect to Regions Bank. Have spoken with bank support (twice) and their system does not show any attempt tp make a transaction or that one was rejected. Spent long time on phone with Quicken support and unable to fix on their end. Have followed all the steps suggested by Quicken. Frustrating, two disconnects while on phone with Quicken.

Regions states their servers are working again. They are apparently not working on this. Quicken: please call Regions and have a direct conversation.0

Been having the problem since 5/11, my last downloaded transaction.
the Quicken register says 'do not add account to quicken ' and I cannot seem to change.

Here is latest comment from Regions. I don't have time.
"If still unable to access, we recommend contacting an Electronic Banking Specialist to open a trouble ticket at 1-800-472-2265 available M-F 6am-7pm and Sat 8am-2pm."1 -
My last good connection to Regions was 5/12. I can go directly to their web site and take care of bills but Quicken gives me OL-295-A starting 5/14.
I have just put in a ticket with Regions about this problem. FYI-I can use web connect from within Quicken to my Regions credit card, but not Direct Connect to banking.0 -
UPDATE 3: After extensive investigation by Quicken support personnel and checking settings, this issue was referred to REGIONS "again" using "me" as the middle person. This is depsite me informing Quicken of the widespread comments regarding this error from other users, they seemed focuesed on this being "my internet" connetion. Back to Regions, they accepted the issue as worthy of investigation and opened a ticket. This is as far as we can go, since direct access to REGIONS technical support is not available/provided.
As others have stated, once the issue becomes known, Quicken should contact REGIONS directly, having us users function as go-betweens accomplishes "nothing" as we are all witnessing.1 -

I'm having the same issue today: OL-295-A error occurs very quickly when trying to update. I reported via Quicken including the log files as well.

Same issue here started 5-11-23. Tried to restore previous backup to troubleshoot problem but Quicken said could not complete and to try later. Nothing had changed as far as I know one session was fine, the next one no go connect to Regions.

The only technical contact I was able to get to at Regions said that all they can help with is password issues. The contact claimed to be the highest level of technical support that I could speak with and that I should contact Quicken
