Reconciliation view

Does anyone like the way the new reconciliation page looks when you go to reconcile your account? It is now a small screen in the corner of my computer. You can't make it full screen. And you have to continually scroll down to the next line item. When you check it reconciled it moves to the top of the list and you scroll again…..argggggg. such a waste of time from previous

It's true that the first of the two reconciliation screens (where you enter the account balance) can't be resized, but the second one (where you see the list of transactions) can be resized and made full screen. Both windows can be moved, so there's no reason that yours should be stuck in the corner if you don't want it there.
If yours is stuck in one of the top corners such that you can no longer see the window header, then try resetting the Quicken preferences. Exit Quicken, then go to /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences in the Finder, and drag the com.quicken.Quicken.plist file to the desktop. Restart Quicken & see if it fixes the window positioning problem. If it doesn't then exit Quicken and put the original file back; if it does then throw the original file away. Note this will reset all your Quicken preferences so you'll have to go through all the settings panels and account registers & put things back the way you like them. You might want to make a note of your settings before moving the plist file to speed up the process.
Also, you can sort the reconciliation window on any column you choose, much like the registers. If you don't want transactions moving around when you mark them reconciled, sort on a different column by clicking on the appropriate column header.

@Lesliekm Just checking: are you talking about Quicken Mac? None of what you describe matches my experiences using Quicken Mac's Reconcile screen. You mention the "new reconciliation page", but nothing has changed about the look of the Reconcile window since the early 6.x versions in 2021. The screen is resizable, in both width and height; I make it tall enough to show all my transactions most of the time. I don't usually use Full Screen mode, but I just tried entering Full Screen with the Reconcile Window, and it does indeed display in Full Screen mode. When I click to clear an item, nothing on the screen moves, and you only need to scroll if your transactions extend beyond the bottom of the window.
Can you capture a screen shot of your reconcile window? You can black out any personal info; I'm just interested in seeing what you're seeing, since it doesn't sound right.

I am hoping you have resolved your issue with reconciled transactions moving to the top. However, as I see no confirmation or further discussion:
- Sort the list of transactions to be reconciled by Date for smooth operation of the reconcile function. Look for the sorted by indicator at the top of the Date column. If the Date column header label is not either DATE V or DATE ^ then click on the header until the indicator appears beside DATE in the header.
- You can send a screenshot of the reconcile window by dragging a screenshot file into your comment before posting to the community.
