Move transactions from one file to another

I mistakenly updated a lot of transactions to a file for 2020 but they should have gotten updated to my current 2023 file. How do I move those transactions from the wrong file to the correct one?

You could try a .QIF file export (File menu). Make Quicken backups before you start to revert to if something goes wrong.

Not sure why you have files for different years, but by keeping only one data file with all history in it, I never have the issue that you have experienced. Besides, you need to open those older data files routinely to make sure that they are compatible with your currently installed version of Quicken.
