Deposits registered as payments

All of my recent bank downloads are listing deposits and payments and vice-versa. What changed? Wells Fargo Bank downloads.

    Please clarify. Are you saying that deposits are being posted to the "Payment" column and payments are being posted to the "Deposit" column? OR, are you saying that deposits are causing the number in the Balance column to go down and payments are causing the number in the Balance column to go up?

    IF it's the latter AND the number in the balance column is in red with a negative sign in from of it THEN Quicken has you in an "overdraft" situation, maybe incorrectly, and the math simply works that way. That is a deposit - which increases your balance at the bank - causes the absolute value of the number in the Balance column to go down, and vis a versa. If this is the situation you're really experiencing and you know you're NOT in an overdraft situation then you need to figure out why this is. Opening Balances of Accounts in Quicken sometimes get changed from it's original correct number to something else, and that might be the first place to look.

    A screen shot of what you're seeing would be helpful.
