Change cost of a partial security sale to average cost

I upgraded my Quicken to Premier so I could change the cost of a partial sale of one of my securities to average cost to agree with my broker's calculation. I deleted the prior version and installed the Premier version but I do not have the option on the
Edit Security Detail window to change the calculation. What am I doing wrong?

Only mutual funds can be set to average cost. What kind of security are you talking about?

And unless you told the brokerage differently AT THE TIME OF THE TRADE, they almost certainly used FIFO which would impact your cost figures.
