How to remove an account from one step update when my bank added two factor authentication

My bank has added two factor authentication to my sign-in process. When One Step tries to sign in, it says the bank needs further information. However, the extra code is sent by default by push to my bank's phone app. If the app isn't runing, I don't get the code. As I am happy to push account data from my bank, I want to remove this bank's accounts permanently from One Step Update. How do I do that. Unchecking the institution in the summary doesn't seem to work permanently.

You could simply go to the Account Details > Online Services tab and then Deactivate the Account from downloading. That's pretty permanent.
