Unable to start Quicken

Question

I stored my quicken file on a flash drive and am now unable to start quicken.Can someone tell me where Quicken Premier looks for it's files to load.  Any assistance would be welcome.

Plugging in a flash drive or thumbdrive does not necessarily assign it the same drive letter that was used last time and was probably your issue.  Quicken was looking in the wrong place and is why Quicken strongly suggests having the data file in the Quicken folder under Documents.

Problem solved by finding qw.exe.  Executed it which opened Quicken allowing me to determine where quicken files were located.  Copied the file needed from the flash drive to the same location other quicken files resided.
